![]() ![]() I don't know if it is the app or something related to the Utilities folder.Īpologies for the confusing question, but none of this makes sense any way I look at it. Opening the new version won't replace the old one. ![]() Each time the copy of Dongle Manager inside the Utilities folder won't open, and I can't seem to replace it with the one in the downloads folder. I downloaded a fresh copy of Dongle Updater from AVID's site, extracted it, and opened it, and it finds the dongle fine, but I can't get rid of the Dongle Manager app inside the AVID Utilities folder, despite having uninstalled the entire Synphony app. Any ideas on how to have the dongle work in the rear hubs as before? You'd think if it wouldn't work somewhere, it would be the front.Ī second issue is that Dongle Manager app in the Utilities folder inside the AVID folder won't open - I get an error message saying I don't have "QtCore4.dll" which is, in fact, installed, whatever it is. I have installed the latest Sentinel driver. Nothing has changed in the computer except for the C drive. Dongle Manager won't find it in either of the two hubs. Whats the highest version we can use without a dongle or subscription crap Ive got a 003. I recently swapped out my C drive on my AVID computer to an SSD - 8600 16G RAM Windows 7 - reinstalled Windows & and the latest Symphony software, and have now found that the dongle key will only work in the front USB hub. Check your Avid Account under products not yet downloaded. ![]()
